"Stick a 4K in it" Giveaway!

Nice knives given, Kerry!
Very generous, and congrats to the winners!
I am going to do one soon, for my 6000 post milestone,
but I hear Spark is going to shut 'er down for a brief spell, to improve the server situation,
so, as soon as he's done, we will have at it!

#136, for the Soddy Jr., smflorkey
Wow! This is picking up my day!! E-mail coming shortly.

Thank you!!!
And as Kerry predicted (in e-mail) the sodbuster arrived in today's (snail)mail. It's even prettier in person than in Kerry's pictures. Also as expected, my wife was looking at it with some suspicion until I told her I didn't spend a penny on it. :) Kerry is also right that it slips easily into my pocket. I think I'll have to find a new pocket to hold a different light so my current light doesn't scratch the new knife.

Kerry, thanks for your very generous gift! It will certainly be an EDC item;
Steve

P.S. My daughter (16) says it's "adorable."

Whooo-weee! Mine arrived today as well and all I can say is "WOW!" (and of course "Thanks", but I'm afraid if I send KH any more emails expressing my gratitude he'll demand the knife back ).

What a beauty! And by far the crown jewel of my humble collection.

I'll try to get some pictures of it ASAP so that you guys can begin to get tired of seeing it posted all over the forum... :p;):D

I said this to Kerry in an email, but if I may I would like to repeat it, now, to all of you here in the Traditional Forum, which is the only place I really post anymore...
The past year has been a tough one for me and and the kindness and fellowship here at Bladeforums has really meant a lot.

And for this, I humbly thank you all. :)

A teaser till I can get some better shots...

Nice! I love it when knives get to their new homes. Enjoy them, fellers!:cool:

This sodbuster rides in my pocket every day. Monday night while dining with friends one of the younger women at the table noticed her jeans had been danced-on enough to have a significant flag trailing behind her. She doesn't want that appearance, but she doesn't have her scissors. :)

Next thing you know she's opening Kerry's sodbuster and slicing that flag off very cleanly. I didn't know whether to laugh or be insulted when she was surprised it is sharp. I guess the patina on the blade threw her off. The sodbuster certainly gets fewer negative remarks than my Spyderco Endura has gotten. This is fun!
