Hey guys nice pics!

Eric: I tried to figure it out but couldn't, what is that to the left of the Luminox? (BTW: where's the 'zombie killer'?)

Perrin Street Surgeon from our buddy larry @ bladeart. I have one too, it is one of my daily carries plus a CQC6, surefire E1,colibri lighter with guillotine cigar cutter and busse maen street in a rowe SOB sheath or strider HT (HTseal2001).

Eric, just got a Hayes Tsunami from Larry yesterday, in a word you need one buddy, will try and call this weekend, any particular time good for you.

Thanks Tat: A very interesting piece! Could you or Eric post close-up shots?

Eric,
Hey buddy, can you help a friend out and give me some info and more pics of your Perrin Street Surgeon.

Mac

Tattoo thanks for the info. I checked the knife out and wanted to know since you have one what you think about it. I am thinking of buying a Filipino box cutter (kerambit) and was thinking Mr. Perrin's surgeon might be a better choice. Thanks for the info.

Mac

Mac, i like it alot actually. Very easy carry and quick draw, i carry it on my weak hand side. Was not as sharp as i would have liked it but cleaned it up on a diamond wheel ar work. I can be used for utility but i think it is better as a defensive back up. Email me if you have any other ?

Hollister,
Is that Commander neck sheath custom? I've been looking to try a neck sheath out for the Commander. Do you like it?
Some time ago someone posted to this forum who made a neck sheath for the Commander that had a piece of parachute cord to act as on opening device for the wave. Did anyone ever handle and use one? Yours doesn't look like one of those.

I have a neck sheath from ASPI for an AFCK. It works great but ASPI, to my knowledge, doesn't make these neck sheaths anymore.

That is a Commander Neck Sheath. It's unique in that it doesn't use the wave at all. As the knife is drawn, inertia of the draw pops the blade open.

These are available from our buddy Larry at Blade Art.

Just got back from bird hunting and a custom Perrin was waiting in the mailbox. It looks like it could poke your eye out - COOL. Thanks Eric! :D

It looks like BladeArt sells Mike Sastre's neck sheath for the Commander. I'm assuming that is the one you have. Anyone interested click below:

Another Training Lesson/Informational Tidbit from the ongoing Suspect Educational Series: ...California State Law prohibits carrying fixed blade knives concealed and that includes neck knives...but carrying folders concealed is OK, no blade limit.

Not as much as some others but they'll get the job done:)
