What is a socket knife?

The handle and blade are forged from one piece. The handle is flared and forged in a tube and finished. The blade is worked from there. This is looking into the end of another socket handle piece I did.

Very strong and feel good in the hand .
Tai Goo has used this for heavy duty choppers to little neck knives.
