Sticky Lockbar Help

I also had a small classic that was sticking until I tried removing all the lube from the lock engagement surfaces. Went right back to normal. My theory was that the lube was letting it wedge too hard into engagement.
 
I decided to take it apart to do yet another cleaning from putting the graphite from the pencil trick. I noticed that there were gouges on the top of the lock bar as well as marks on the back of the blade tang. Furthermore, it started to act up again and the engagement was at about 90% but with a solid lock up. I called/emailed them today and they told me to send it in.

As weird as it sounds I really miss my small sebenza even though its been what.....4 hours since I dropped it off at the post office. I sure will miss it. To top it off, I will be leaving for a business trip this coming sunday...so that means 2 weeks without it! :rolleyes:

Yup you got it right. They sent it back and its fine now. Not sticking, but some of the marks are still there. :rolleyes:
