stiff byrd cara cara?

I have my new byrd here that used to open real smooth. Now i just put some silicon oil on to lube it, and its like realy stiff, can hardly even open it one handed without flicking it, and then it still hard. From my standpoint, i think that somthing happen to the lockback, cause if i hold the lock down, the blade is smooth, but when i let it down, its back stiff again. I have nothing to it besides lubing the knife. What do i do?????
 
try blowing in between the blade and the lock area (with your mouth or compressed air) that should clean most of the grit if there is any, you could also try a different lube in there.
