That's awesome, but no pix? If there's pix, post them here. Yeah I usually wear gloves, but I have a few pair and they're ALL misplaced.

No pics of the oompa-loompa hands, unfortunately. I thought about that the next morning when it was mostly faded off.

Not quite, but a little sore. The coating is slowly coming off the blade and I'll say that the Ka-Bar versions are getting used more around my house than my Camillus versions.

Yeah cellphone camera + dad as cameraman has that effect. I found a couple more pix that I uploaded.

I tried pushing the damned thing over at least a dozen times, but it always seemed to require just a bit more chopping.

me? i'd use an axe. higher up too... cleanup work is best left to the saw, or a tractor (more material == better hauling) - can't remember how many thousands of trees i've had to take out, i'm lazy... i love axes...

but, at least once, knowing your Machax, or other knife can do that? priceless.

NB: if you can avoid it, do not chop knots on evergreens. even with an axe. that's why god made dynamite.
