Yes! I'm back! My email provider was diverting the messages to the spam folder. It was keeping the messages online, and I've never checked the mail that way before. I've been using Outlook Express for the email, so I never saw them.
Sorry for not catching on sooner!
That's precisely why I don't like spam filters, even though regularly cleaning up your inbox can be a bitch. Stuff like that happens way too often to those who use them.
