I like the looks of that KaBar. How is it for bushcraft things like feather sticks or carving fire boards, trap parts, etc.? Is the blade thin enough? How does it compare to a Mora? I guess you like it, otherwise you wouldn't be carrying it, but do you have any other thoughts about it?

Funny you ask Doc I was showing the lads how the two knives cut and the Ka-Bar cuts feather sticks and such like really well.Having a Spear Point blade it is also useful for drilling into wood for making fire drill boards etc.
The Dumpster Mutt on the other hand is far better at chopping and battoning.
I was gonna put this before but thought some might think I was stating the obvious.
The Ka-Bar is a real good bush craft knife, it adapts to different grips and keeps a great edge !!!!!:thumbup:
I imagine the Ka-Bar would baton well, too?
