Still more etching issues????

Hey guys and gals, I'm having an issue where after I'm done etching my stencils will not clean up, there is a black residue left, It also seems that whatever i am doing may also be putting small holes in the stencil, (only where the text is)...The problem has just started recently..I'm using a personalizer plus.I do 10 seconds on 10 seconds off on both etch and mark at about 4 power...is this too much power or could it be the solution I'm using.I had purchased the wrong solution but was told it should be fine. the solution is for stainless and I'm working with 1095. Its almost to the point where Its making my stencils single use!!!
 
Try doing shorter presses with the pad, 1 or 2 seconds on and 10 seconds off works as well as 10 on, 10 off with my homemade unit. Before I figured that out I did it the same way you are, with about the same results.
