Stock size mistake...can it be overcome?

Hello everyone! Glad to find this place! I have a question centered around my stupidity. I ordered some O1 tool steel to have on hand once I've practiced on mild steel enough to feel comfortable with the good stuff. Thing is, I accidently got 1/4" x 1/2" x 1-1/2'. The half inch looks to be killing me. Can you still salvage a small knife out of this narrow stock? Maybe some fancy toothpicks? :D
 
Could be nice to make some smaller neck knives or a VERY pocket friendly fixed blade.
 
Oh good grief, this is the wrong forum to have posted this question. My appologies everyone. Blame the bad eyes and inability to work a computer. I'll search for a delete thread feature but if it doesn't exist, Mods, feel free to nuke this from orbit.
