We keep hundreds of pounds of rice and beans, dried milk, canned foods, candles, and lots of matches.. We also keep a fair amount of 12 Gauge and .22 ammo. Heat and water are no big deal for us, we heat mostly from wood off our land, and have an open well, stream, pond and gravity-fed cistern. The rice is our big stock though, we have had a couple of long term power outages here..
