Stocking Stuffers - Which Brand?

Another vote for the Rough Riders.

I have bought at least a dozen of them and I paid under 10 bucks for each one including shipping. Some I got for around 7 bucks.

With both Steel Warrior and Rough Rider, you get more knife for 8$ than any time in the last 40 years. I am wanting to pick up a couple of the SW copperlocks. Using them would "save" my "good" Case knives and I wouldn't be so bummed out if I lost it or it got picked up while I wasn't looking.

I'd love to get a SW or RR as a stocking stuffer. Your stocking owners will be happy!!

Another vote for Rough Riders. I have about 20 and all are very well made. Also someone mentioned the off shore made Bucks. I have a number of them as well and I would go with them over the RR. But not by much.

Great suggestions. Rough Rider is winning by a large margin. Very surprised by the lack of interest in Shrade. Are they really that inferior to the others? Guess my first choice was not that great after all.

I personally own a couple of Opinels but I don't think they look classy enough even though the're good users. Jackknife, you make a very persuasive post about SAKs, but as I previously mentioned may wait for next year.

Unless there's more votes for Steel Warrior, looks like I'll be placing my order for Rough Riders later tonight. Again thanks for your comments.

Interesting. I think Opinels would be great, but I agree that is something WE would be stoked to get...they don't impress non knife folk. The Vic classic is a great idea, too. The nice thing about the RR is it looks like a lot more than $10. But the reason I'm chiming in again is Carl's great idea about tiny flashlights. I'm doing the same thing this year. ;)

I have a small flashlight on my keyring, and I might use it more than my knife. Great gift for men or women. Just damn handy. In case there is need of more stuffing for the stocking, I'll second that idea.

I gifted a RR copperhead ($5 at a gun show) to a buddy not too long ago, and he went from a non-knife-guy to carrying his pocket knife everywhere. I was impressed with the quality, and the recipient was tickled pink... All around positive experience.

Thanks everyone. Rough Rider it is.
And special thanks to the two forumites who messaged me about where to get bargains.
