I'm in and these two are my most generally carried traditional slippies in recent weeks, months:

I will carry and use it.

Well, I don't have a picture of the knife I've carried for the last 30 years or so, that you can see the knife in the picture anyway, but here is a photo with two that I have carried and one of my Dad's that he carried for a long time before I laid claim to it.

The top one is a Valor brand knife. It kinda has a stars and bars/old glory flag etched on the main blade still. I used it at a carpet store backrolling remnants and cutting twine until one of the blades started bending back past the open position. It was replaced by the Schrade Old Timer, a 98OT I believe, the green handled one is a Hammer Brand that I procured from my father recently. The littlest blade is still razor sharp. I save it for getting out splinters. Sorry for the lousy phone pic but I've been meaning to take this photo for several days and figured I better get it done or it would never get done.

I'd like to play, too, thanks.

Here's a sweet little Gerber Silver Knight that I carry in dress pants.

The old Schrade 293Y probably gets carried more than anything, though i have a couple of GEC's that are finding their way into my pocket more and more.

Wow so many give aways :D

I always have one of these three on me, Vic Alox Cadet, S&M Sowbelly stockman, and a Med. CV Case stockman.

Hello fellow tradtional forumites!

There's been so many good give aways lately that I simply cannot do but add my own.

Rules are simple:
- I don't hold responsibility for lost packages.
- Everyone can participate, moderators too.
- I'll ship anywhere in the world
- Promise to carry and use the knife I give away.
- Ends 29th of July.

How to participate: Post picture of your traditional knife that gets most pocket time. You can post more knives too if you rotate them. Your post number is your entry number. I'll use random number generator to draw lucky one. Please state if you're in or not.

Prize:

Bit modded Case 6.5 Stagbone Medium Stockman in CV. I've lowered the sheepshoof blade to make it more pocket friendly. It carries really nice and CV cuts like mean laser. Unfortunately there's no box left for this one.

Edit:

Indeed you're right.

Thanks for the giveaway!!! I have only have one traditional knife currently, the venerable Case Sodbuster Jr. (Alas, I have a couple more on the way!) Sorry my pictures are pretty low quality:

I will most definitely carry and use this knife if I win! Good luck everyone!!

I would love to participate. Count me in.

Case Sodbuster Junior. EDC rotation since about 1973. Patina is the real deal. This thing has cut everything from hangnails to sod...yes I cut sod with it.

Thanks,

Now THAT is a beautiful knife with the natural wear, Quentin!!!

.. I am a huge fan of Stockman, Trappers, Canoes and a few others and especially coupled with good ole hi-carbon steel! So you know I'll be keeping your fine WR Case 6.5 Bone-Stag Stockman in my edc rotation to be sure if'n I win.

Here is the one I've been carrying for the last several decades, off and on, and lately since I received her in the 1980's in new condition. She has been faithfully cutting everything wonderfully as tasked ever since.. She is actually showing my pocket wear on the beautiful dark Jigged Red Bone these days..

That SAK I have carried everyday almost for the past year and a half.

And that slipjoint sees the second most pocket time, it was my grandfather's

I am new to this forum, but please count me in for this lottery!

Here is my humble contribution, I hope you find it worthy. Vic Bantam and Boker whittler with jigged red bone handles. The SAK gets more pocket time, but both are favorites of mine.

I am in thanks, that is exactly what I am looking for. I am actually tring to tarde a larger stockamn for one like this in the swap thread) I don't have a picture of my Victorinox Recruit handy but here is my oldest traditional that has the most total pocket carry and still gets rotated in often.
