Got my first German Eye in the post this morning, it's the same as Roland posted in his picture(Barehead knife next to a pruner,2nd left bottom row)
Knife looks good and has potential to be very nice , 3" black jigged scales, 2 blades one Clip and the other an interesting mini Sheepfoot/Wharncliffe.Unusual.
But, it certainly has 'issues'. Gaps between springs and liners are significant, the springs seem oddly large for such a small knife. Snap is good and there's no blade wobble though. The secondary blade touches the liner and is nowhere near centre, worse, the blade itself is bent-crinked might be a euphemism here. Pins are proud too. All in all a potentially good knife brought down by some poor fit. All the German Bökers I have are much better finished. One swallow doesn't make a summer and one bad knife doesn't make a manufacturer rubbish, I know, but I'm not in a great hurry for another Eye nevertheless.
