A fitting tribute to Grandad

So my five year old picked me out an exceptional case trapper for Father’s Day, and to see that beaming smile I’ve been carrying it..... but it’s a trapper,..... I don’t like trappers. So yesterday we went on a pilgrimage, just me and him without his 2yr old brother, to my favorite knife store about an hour away in Spurger, Tx and I “let” him (yes I slyly guided him to pick a sowbelly stockman, though he picked the exact one) pick me a new knife. Now I can carry thiss’un everyday and still see that beam. I’ll carry my “fancy” knife(as he calls it) on occasion as it is a really nice knife, but it’s a dang trapper.

The stockman is becoming my favorite to carry. This Boker is very easy on the pocket and is great for whittling.
