Thank you, Will! I agree on the Osage Orange. I grew up in Texas and was taught to call those trees Horse Apples, or Bo-Dark (Texan pronunciation of “Bois d’Arc”). They were everywhere. The wood was great for making bows and tent stakes, but terrible for burning in a campfire.The Dixie is a great interpretation, and I wish GEC would start offering Osage Orange again.
