I always liked the Uncle Henry Stagalon. I bought the bottom one in 1970. The top one is a little more recent.

Yep. The gent I got it in trade from carried it daily for over 10 years.
Said he used it to help peel & ready for the freezer "a few" white tail, mule, and black tail deer, (all three are in Idhao) and some rabbit, harr, and squirrel.
I suspect he also used his same age finger groove Buck 110 to process the deer, and any fish and snapper turtle he caught and kept for the grill, griddel, pan, or stew pot.
The Case, Buck, and a pre-2000 SAK Champ (~2" wide version) were the only knives he carried from.2015 to 2025, when I did some trading for the Case.
