Been totin' this quote/unquote "large" (it's only 4 5/8 inch closed) Schade+ Old Timer 858 (no "OT" in the tang stamp) since Tuesday last. No idea why Schrade only made it 4 years from 1978 to 1982. It isn't "too big" or "too heavy" (note quotes) for loose in the bottom of the jeans/cargo pants/carpenter's/painter's pants front pocket.

315 A grand accumulation/collection of Old Timer and Schrade stockman.

Please forgive my asking. Maybe its the lighting.
Far left column, third from top, under the Bowie Shield knife, and same column, second and third from the bottom ("Master Mechanic" and blank shield).
The light areas of the covers do not have the reddish hue of the top and bottom knives.
Are those three sun faded? Post 2004 manufacture? Did Schrade have a batch of Delrin with the colors off, but they used it anyway?
