I posted a WTB for a Spyderco Paramillie a little while ago. Stockman emailed me and offered to send me his Para, from Australia, on the condition that I would look at it and send him what I thought it was worth.
Yeah, you read that right.
He was genuinely interested in sending me a knife I would use, and was quite firm in stating that he would accept my assessment of the knife. It arrived as described, and I sent him a check based on a fairly high assessment just because I think you have to acknowledge that kind of honesty and good-guy-ism these days.
It's suddenly my go-to knife, now that I sent my 520 off for some custom work. Perfect timing.
