I've had a couple of Stoeger O/U's come in used. Seem to be well made. Fit and finish was ok but not up to par with some of the more expensive brands. I've heard no complaints from the people who bought them. Hope this helps.
I have Coach gun (short barrel side by side) that I use for Cowboy Action Shooting and have found Stoeger shotguns to be very reliable and sturdy. They often need the services of a good gunsmith to slick them upand the installation of a recoil pad (I like the SC100 Sporting clays Decelerator from Pachmayr)to be a good idea. I have not seen the O/U model but would think it is similar in fit and finish and a lot less expensive than most fancy O/U's.
