Stolen Basic 11

When I was a teenager I had much the same thing happen. They got a nice Aussie made Bowie (can't remember the maker now - it was in the 80s), my hunting binoculars, a Burris 1.75-6 sight and some odds and ends. I was away they day they were let in to work where I was living (I lived alone from 15) and came back knowing something was up, took me a couple of days to figure all that was gone. My .375H&H had been moved and I suspect it was on their list of trophies (that is what the Burris belonged to though it was not attached at the time) but they probably thought it may draw too much attention.

I STILL get angry at those losses !!
 
Sorry for your loss. Is there a way you can find out who the subcontractors were? Complain to the company that did the work. Also surf Craig's List and EBay, show a picture at all your local pawnshops, might get a hit.
