So some piece of work (lack of better words) decided he needed MY bk14 more than I did and helped himself to it!, I guess its my fault, I mean I had the back windows zipped off of the jeep and it was clipped to the passenger side seat back (tdi clip), stupid me, what was I thinking.

I am beside myself right now. Im mad, disappointed but most of all let down.

It's going to take me a while to replace it the way it was and what burns me the most is that the piece of crap that helpped himself to it has no clue what he just stole, to him it's just annother "shank".

Best I can do now is hope it somehow ends up being used in a good way or he at least cuts himself with it!.

Damn im pissed!.....

Sorry for the rant, needed to vent.

Sorry to hear that, man. Honesty has all but disappeared. We don't leave anything worth more than $10 in sight when we leave the vehicle.

Wow! I'm sorry, Man! That must really suck! How much had you modded it? We once had a Leatherman wave stolen at a garage sale, right out of the sheath! :(

Man that sucks.had the 7 on the rollcage right by my seat belt attachment behind my seat for the past 5 months.no doors,no top...guess people think there s no valuable in my ride.just gonna take it down in case now.
Sorry man i'd be bummed too.

That really sux. Sorry for your loss. Steel a knife?? That is some bad charma. Hopefully your not in CA, MA, NJ, NY or somewhere that is goin to act like its your fault for allowing an evil knife to get stolen. And the poor misunderstood thief should be given money so he is not forced to steal anymore. The good news is bk14's are affordable Nd I am sure you will get one looking even better than before.

That sucks bro ! I'll laugh though if he decides to EDC it and gets done by the cops somehow. I bet you wouldn't mention it's stolen either

Thanks all.
I had it ceracoated black, tdi clip on factory sheath, had just put on some tks scales and I had just finished convexing the edge. All in all, nothing special but damnit it was MY knife.

I worked for it, shopped for it, planned what I wanted for it and I made it MINE, and some piece of garbage just "came up" on it.

Damn im pissed!.

I hate to say this but this sh!t shook me to the core!.

I am the type of guy who will put shopping carts back in front of the store door so they don't ding peoples cars, they guy who puts a quarter in your meter if it's expired and this waste of skin saw it fit to take MY stuff!.

I literally taste blood right now........

At the last garage sale we had, some worthless SOB stole my rain gauge out of the front yard. It was right by the curb stuck in the ground and the guy just pulled it and drove off.

Thieves are worthless, I'm sorry to hear that bud.

I've been robbed 7 times. My warehouse has been broken into 4x, my grandmother's house was broken into while I was living in it and working on it. I had been there Thurs - Monday. Left about 5 p.m. and got back the next evening around 4 p.m. and the thieves had taken all my power tools, all my grandmother's antique dishes, my lawn tractor, chainsaw, wave runner, etc. Later, after my renter's had moved out and I was back in my house 1/8 mile down the road, I came home to find the back door kicked in and found that the thieves had taken my claw foot tub, bathroom sink, water heater, washer, dryer, shower surround, even my cast iron kitchen sink!!!! Any thing metal. The stove was in the middle of the kitchen like they got scared and left. A week later, they came back, kicked in the door again, and got the stove.

If I'm ever called for jury duty for burglary/robbery, they damn sure better have really good evidence that they didn't do it. I'll even supply the rope and horse.

I sat in on a jury where a 3rd strike candidate (California 3 strike laws) had stolen a watch from a K-Mart, and got caught by store security.
He went away for a long --- time, a stupid watch.

To the rest of the world, your blade was nothing special, except WE know better. You'll get another one.

Sorry to hear about it, that really sucks. What a scum bag. Karma will get him in the long run.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. It really sucks, that you cannot trust people these days. I remember a time when......awe, who am I kidding, I've never trusted anyone. Anyway, it was a hard lesson to learn for you, but perhaps this experience will show you that stuff left in plain sight, will get taken if the opportunity is there. I recommend not ever putting things in your vehicle you cherish in view of ANYONE. Keep it out of view. I treat my 24 exactly like I treat my high dollar electronics/smart phones and gps. I never leave them anywhere I do not control, not ever. And I most certainly consider my unattended locked vehicle in a parking lot open to the public, way outside of my control.

Anyway, sorry to hear of this. Hopefully you'll be able to recover quickly from it. Good luck.

The world is crap brother. I dont leave NOTHING within anyones reach now adays!

You know what would be cool ? A system where if someone touches your car they get 10,000 volts :)

That would be great, but who are we kidding here. You know that system would be illegal in your neck of the woods. ;)

Oh and probably Chicago...where it is needed most. :D

I used to keep a change of clothes in the back seat of my jeep. Simple cargo shorts, t shirt and sneakers. somebody stole that from the back of my wrangler. Another time they took my stereo face plate. Another time cd's and a cigarette lighter. If it ain't nailed down it's fair game sadly to say.

My truck got broken in last year. They got a few bucks in change from one of the cup holders, but my BK2 was still in the back pocket of the driver seat under a a packages of baby wipes. I got lucky because had the 2 been in view it would have been just as gone as the loose change.

Im sorry your knife was stolen, especially with all the work you put into it. Years ago I had my gear and work gear in back of a truck, and some ahole decided to help himself. He took it all. Still havent replaced even a 1/4 of it all yet. You never know with people. Get yourself a bk2 maybe or a 16, make it your own. The theif will likely cut himself, and badly.
