Stolen bk14!.....

I gave a BK14 to a good friend a few years ago and it was stolen out of the door of his truck. They caught the guy because he had broken into several vehicles and my buddy got his BK14 back.
 
Have you ever felt though , with stolen property , it just doesn't feel like yours anymore ? I've had a few stolen items returned , and they feel violated somehow.
 
got back from a camping trip late fall last year, left my wife's window open to vent maybe 3 in and someone snaked the graphite flyrod and 2 reels out of the case plus zipped it back closed.....did not realize for at least a week and too late to go through the security video.

This was in a gated underground parking!!!!! must have a crappy neighbour in the building.
Probably 400$ easy with both reels loaded with good sinking lines.

I know how you feel...my BK16 was stolen last summer on my camping trip, right off my pack while we were getting the canoe!! But I did replace her with a BK10!:)
 
Had my 14 stolen a few years back too. You never get over it, I burn up whenever I think about it. Get another quick!
 
may he lose it to another thief. and then that guy loses it to be found by someone who maybe deserves it. karma could have had that person steal it so someone with worse intentions didn't get it. just roll with life's lesson and you will replace it soon enough.
