Ok I gotta rant and let my anger out:mad: I don't usually post very often(I'm a quite type of guy) but I have to this time. I'll make it short....Just came back last night from a 3 day camping/canoe trip up at Algonquin park with my 2 brothers, we try and go every year. So we get to the access point and we drop our packs and stuff near the lake and go into the office to get our camp permits and canoe rental. We go and get our canoe and PDF and paddles, bring the canoe to the lake, load our packs....and then that's when I noticed the BK16 that I had strapped to my pack f#@$ing gone. Bastards took it right out of the sheath! I remember seeing a group of 4 guys coming off the lake....so I ran to the parking lot but they were gone. Nobody else was around so it must have been them.
I'm sooo pissed, it was her maiden voyage, she was brand new, never used:mad:
Luckily I had my BK11 around my neck and a Mora clipper in the pack or else I would have been left with no knife for the trip!

Ok feel better now that I let it out, but what was suppose to be a nice trip turned into still a nice trip but I was grumpy the whole time.

I guess now I'll have to save and see if the wife will let my buy another BK16 but that might be a long shot:eek: I'll have to romance her...lol

Ok thanks for reading the rant guys

I would be pissed as well.

Just remember, Karma is a you know what.

That really bites man,

I'm sure you scoured your vehicle and the ground to make sure, it did not just get dislodged.

Nope not in the car....I remember looking at it as I put my pack down, grinning at the thought of finally puttin her to the test. Maybe she'll "bite" the hand that took her.

Sorry to hear that. Stealing anything is terrible. However, it takes a real low life to steal something so essential to someone as they're heading out into the wilderness. If you had become lost on your trip, a knife can be a life saver.

Man, that really sucks. I never strap anything important to the outside of the pack....always goes inside or on my person. Army infantry taught me that.

Hope you get a replacement soon. Tough break.

That Sucks.

When you get your new one, email me and remind me of your situation, and I will send you a free sheath for your new BK16. :)

Hope that starts to help.

have fun romancing the wife -- if you get her tired enough, she might buy you one just to get some rest. :)

Hope the fleas of a thousand scruffy goats bite the thief's ball sack daily.

Bummer :( . Trust no one, unless you're given good reason to, and behave accordingly! This has served me well as I've never had anything stolen. People who are with me think I'm overly protective of my stuff but I'm the only one who hasn't been the victim of theft (knock on...a thief's thick neanderthal forehead).

That sucks, I hate thieves.
I've been robbed quite a few times myself, even had my apartment broken into once, and they robbed me blind.

Hope the scumbags cut themselves good on your blade.:emot-yarr:

Wow I'm sorry to hear that happened, especially in Algonquin park! What access point was it at? I'm heading up for 4 days with my girlfriend at the end of July. Algonquin is one of my favourite places in the world.

"Never leave your sword laying in a field behind you, for your enemies may strike at any time." Old viking saying. Sorry man, they shouldnt have done it but in todays world you cant just leave stuff lying around.

That sucks!

Man there is just about nothing worse than a person who takes what another works for.

But ignorant azz people are too lazy to work for what they want or need and just go around taking shiz. i say tie them up in public and beat the shiz out of the hole lot of them!

Sorry- i was also stolen from recently and it hits a nerve lmao.......

Azwelke that's beyond awesome of you too!

It was a access point 1, I've been going to Algonquin for 15yrs, never had any problems....I guess times are changing.
