Stolen BK16

That Sucks.

When you get your new one, email me and remind me of your situation, and I will send you a free sheath for your new BK16. :)

Hope that starts to help.

Al

That's a class act right there. OP, I'm sorry to hear of your loss but we all have to answer for our wrongs one day. Those fellows will be of no exception.

You read a story about someone being a lowlife, and then before you even get a chance to think the whole world sucks, someone like azwelke comes along and reminds you that there are some pretty damn generous people in the world that more than balance things out. Nicely done sir, nicely done.

Sorry to hear that. It's sad when in a situation like that, people would lift something right off your pack. I've always felt fairly comfortable on the trails with leaving stuff out and knowing it'll be there when I return, but I hear this kind of crap more and more lately.

Awesome offer, AZ!

You know this guy will be punished for his actions, I'll bet your 16 has already bit him so bad he's bleeding out somewhere in the woods as we speak... Beckers are like welltrained attackdogs, they will come down hard on anyone doing wrong things to their owners....

Hope the fleas of a thousand scruffy goats bite the thief's ball sack daily.

He doesn't have a sheath, so there is a good chance that he will cut off his own nuts; making this a worthy investment toward improving the gene pool.

I just wanna say thanks to everyone for their kind words and generosity......my wife still can't believe that there is a "chat room" for guys to talk about knives, but it's working to my advantage. After reading the comments shes actually starting to change her mind:thumbup: Here's hoping I'll have another BK16 for our family cottage trip in AUG:thumbup:

Once again thanks everyone
Flav

Unfortunately there are idiots everywhere these days. Fortunately most everyone I have met in Algonquin have been friendly good people.

My 9 and a map of the southern part of the park.

You can't stop trash from being trash. Sorry about your loss.
And I'm like mad just thinking about it.

Man. Sorry for your loss, flav. At times like this you can understand removing a hand for stealing. Perfect synergy to cut off the thief's hand with the knife he stole. Or at least a finger. Or two. Or three...

And great gesture, azwelke.

Sorry to hear about this Flav. It sucks that scum like this exist in places like Algonquin Park.

As for your wife's improving impression about Beckerheads, my wife and I have gone to a Beckerhead Gathering (drove down from Toronto) and we can assure you that these are some of the finest folks you'll ever meet.

Try to put this behind you and grab another 16 - it will help you get over this unfortunate situation.

10 to 1 odds that the azzhole comes on here bragging about his "brand new" 16 and asks us for recommendations on a good sheath.

Haha......I guess this makes everyone after this who procures a 16 as potential suspects. Awesome!! LOL

gotta hate it when wildlife steals stuff...

not taking the whole pack though? that seems weird...

any chance whatsoever the knife didn't fall out or something?

i ask, because i had a buddy that SWORE for weeks that his phone was stolen ...

turns out he just left it under his truck seat ;) ran out of juice, didn't ring. oops.

me? i thought i lost something last week, and then realized, yeah, i put it right where i finally remembered it (don't get old kids)

THEN AGAIN, i have had things stolen, and it highly sucks :P

good luck!

That's what I was wondering also. Bottom line is a missing knife though I suppose. Sucks, I lost a Mag. Camp and a Pot Belly myself by lending them out. It still bugs me a little when I think of it. No good deed goes unpunished.

nah...I remember looking at her when I put the pack down. I'm totally sure that someone in that group of guys knew that it was a Becker and just quickly swiped it.

Well I guess the good in all of this is that Beckers are becoming more popular:thumbup:
