Stolen Fiddleback...

It has been a terrible time as my mother passed away last night. I am trying to keep myself busy to be strong for my Dad at the moment.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Grieve for the loss of your mother. My thoughts are with ya.

Knives come and go, we are only temporary custodians of the good stuff. In the end, it's the people who count. I've lost a few knives and been saddened, but people are more dear by far.

Best wishes for both you, Scotcha, and you, HogWylder.

Thank you everybody for your PM's and kind posts. I really appreciate that. This is a great group of people.

Brad, I am sorry did not intend to hijack your thread, just not thinking straight.

Abe I'm sorry to hear about your mother, my condolences. Thoughts and prayers sent for you and your family. Brad I'm sorry to hear about your knife, that's a nice one. I'll keep an eye out for it.

No worries Abe, no worries at all...:)

Hey Brad
I'm in Oklahoma too. You may not know that in our state theft of goods valued in excess of $500 is considered Grand Larceny and
Grand larceny and punishable by imprisonment in the State Penitentiary not exceeding five (5) years. Easily, the hunter alone could be valued at $500. You really should consider filing a police report and pursue legal action on this.

...or when the perpetrator is found, and knife is recovered, remove one of his hands with it.

Rotte said it so well, that I'll just say that I feel the same. Sorry for your losses guys, particularly for you Abe and your family.

This was really a kick in the guts for both Brad & me, more so for him as not only has he lost two irreplaceable knives but also the money he had invested in them. I was devastated to find out about the theft also because it was going to be headed back home.

Abe sorry for your and her father loss. To loose the Mom is probably one of the most hardest loss no matter when and how it happens. The only thing could be said, that now she is on haven and in peace.
