Stolen Knife Alert!!

I'll copy this thread to TGB&U. I hope the thief tries to sell the knives to one of our members -- preferably an off-duty cop.

Peter,
I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. I'll pray for the speedy and complete return of your stolen property. I also hope the thief gets caught and gets to spend a few years in the big house fearing he'll drop the soap in the shower. I just cannot tolerate a thief.

All the best,
Mike U.

Last night while I slept, someone broke into my vehicle and stole a bunch of goodies. I just happened to have left my knapsack containing a brand new Rhino 120 GPS, Grundig shortwave radio, RayBans and ASP Taclite inside it on the seat. Also snatched were the Oakley sunglasses on the dash and a cheap Sony headset radio. Unpleasant to be missing them but all replaceable.

But what really pissed me off was I had forgotten about the kniferoll made by RayE behind the seat. It contained 5 custom folders and my Cachelight prototype. I normally would not have left such stuff in my truck but I had just gotten back from showing my knives to some friends. Here's some pics of the knives that were stolen:

Also taken were but not pictured above were two other medium sized framelock folders. All folders are stamped ATWOOD.

Please, if anybody sees these items on Ebay or in a pawnshop somewhere, please let me know!

I was not the only one hit. Several neighbors also had items lifted from their vehicles. This is the first time I've ever had anything stolen and I have lived in all sorts of places both urban and rural. If I catch these punks........

Peter I do a lot of Ebay surfin' for knives so I'll keep my eyes open, it sucks when this kinda stuff happens, livin' in the country you kinda get spoiled, I leave my car unlocked all the time at home, and at any given moment between the gps, minidisc recorder, digital camera, knives, and tools there's sometimes over a couple of grand in the car.
