I am glad to hear you got your knives back.

Just a thought;
It is better to assume that someone is honest, and be wrong.
Than to assume they are a thief, and be wrong.

Most people are honest, good people.

I am sure Dick can attest to this as well, but unfortunately in our business you eventually start to think the whole world is a bunch of toads, mopes, turdbirds, etc... Comes with the territory unfortunately.

But not you guys of course, you're all cool...

Sounds like a happy ending though assuming the PD there does round him up. And sounds like a new knife maker has been drawn in to the fold as well. Excellent!

Man, I love a happy ending like this one. That would have sucked to lose all those knives.

Thieves are the scum of the earth in my opinion. I was told by the senior officer that the perp could charge me with assault ( broken elbow ) The cop then tells me it will be ok as he must have fallen down the stairs. Funny thing is I didn't have stairs

I don't have any steps either, but, I do have a couple step ladders! But, then justice here works pretty well without the ladders or the stairs. They would just tell the thief he was lucky he didn't have any large caliber holes in him.
