Don't think it can't happen!,, after eating one nite a friend said when they were kids they would put a flint or chert rock in the fire and see who would chicken out first and run. Said they would explode! Had not heard that before?,, he put an egg size rock in and we waited,,, nothing! Then he ran after a few minutes! We did to not wanting to chance it.later after thinking nothing would happen I was about to put more wood on and it blew!,, had to pull a red hot sliver out of my palm!,, had a scare for years where it entered!,, just glad it didn't geet an eye!
