Stonewash finishing a Microtech SOCOM?

When my Microtech SOCOM M/A closes, it doesn't engage the stopper. The ball detent stops it, but it doesn't close touching the stopper (so you can still rotate it in about a degree by pushing down on it when it's closed, and then the ball detent will pull it up a degree after you stop pushing).

It's going to back to the factory for some warranty work. Hopefully after that gets fixed, I'm interested in sending it off to get stonewash finished, but I don't know who does stonewash finishing. Does anyone do stonewash finishing for a reasonable price?

Does stonewash finishing remove enough material to make it so that the blade's curved portion (that engages the stopper in closed position) won't engage the stopper fully? I don't want the same problem to occur again after having it fixed.

Thanks.

Since the knife's going back to MT, I'd suggest you let them do any other work you want done. Just my opinion.
