This one is discounted because the blade has a slight bend in it that I did not catch until I already had the scales on it. It is very slight (about 1/32") and hardly noticeable, but I wanted to be forthcoming about it. The bottom picture shows the slight bend. The overall length is is 7 3/8", the blade is 3 1/4" x 1" high and is flat ground from .100 - 1095 high carbon steel. It is heat treated to Rc 60 - 61 tested. I did a forced patina which gave the blade a little texture and then stonewashed it. The scales are well matched Sambar stag with black G10 liners and a 3/16" mosaic pin and lanyard hole. The spine of the blade has rope file work. It comes with a right hand carry leather sheath made by me. Sold shipping w/ insurance in the US. Paypal or money order. Thanks for looking, Alan

I'm really liking the knives you have been producing lately. Theres just something about the stag and the finish you're putting on them that I really like. I wish I could fork over the money for one right now because this one would be mine.

Thanks fellas,

At first I was a bit leary to try and straighten the blade for fear of damaging the finish because in order to straighten the blade I had to bring it back up to tempering temperature, but this morning I wrapped the handle with a wet rag and gave it a shot. I was able to remove about 90% of the bend and now it is not noticeable (only a coulpe of thousandths of an inch). It did not damaged the finish in any way. I am leaving the price since this what I listed it at.

I squinted hard at the screen and couldn't find a single bend. But then again, us artists are our own worst critic. :p

:DDog gone Alan that things bent so bad you could use it as a hoof pick:D
Purdy knife sir.
