Stopped At A Little Knife Show Picked Up RJ Martin

I'm almost surprised to find myself thinking this, but I like the Hartsfield WAY better. Like, on all counts.

The Martin has nice lines, no doubt about that, but the full epoxied handle doesn't look too appealing compared to the Hartsfield. I'll bet it doesn't feel as nice either.

And, I don't know why I'd say this, but that Hartsfield LOOKS sharper:confused:

Anyway, you're a lucky guy to have both, Joe:thumbup::cool:

Joe,
That is a great knife and could probably cut that Hartsfield in half:)

I tested a bunch of concealment knives about 10 years ago and the RJ Martin Wasabi cut the biggest wound channels in meat you have ever seen for a knife its size. Unreal.

Great score Joe!!! It was great to meet you at the show:thumbup:

Thanks for the kind words Les!!!;)

Ricky it was great meeting you and your son .. like I said best table by far

Lorien I like phill's stuff very much he is redoing a 20 some year old Kwaiken for me right now. New sheath out of Cape Buffalo I contaminated the old sheath with blood fat and tallow. Not a perfect skinning knife but it was what I had

Anthony I am super impressed with the Martin I am glad I went to the show and there was a MAC near by. I have also found these little chisel grind knives to be devastating cutters

PHill is no P Long but his metal sheaths are very sturdy and due to the flatness off them they carry IWB very well. I rig them with a static line and use the skull bead as a thob where I pass the line thru the loop or if I want I can tie them fast to a belt either behind hip or crossdraw. The one pictured is elephant hide

As well executed as the Martin sheath is The PH is more comfortable not by much but a bit more versatile
