Storage of liner and frame locks?

For longterm storage, say 1 year+, blade open or closed?

Or are the locks under enough stress in the closed position to matter?

I've had them stored much longer than this with no ill effects. I wouldn't worry about it. Both the hardened steel locks and the titanium locks have 'memory' that will do its job keeping it where its set. The only way to really undo this memory is to really over tweak them one way or the other to a new 'set' in the spring tension.
