Storage system and knife collection!

This is my system. I love it. It keeps the knives safe and is very mobile. Thanks

Hey man. Thats a really cool idea. Great job on the suitcase. Where did you get the pick and pluck foam inserts? Can you just order it from Pelican?

Also, the advantage of a pelican case is that there are little eyeholes on the cases that would allow you to run a cable lock around something solid in your house so that a burglar couldn't take the case.

What made you want to get rid of your Bradley Alias 1?

Posting this here rather than starting a new thread. I have a couple of blades that I store in their original packaging(plastic sleeve + box). I also include a desiccant package in each one. My question is, should the desiccant be inside the plastic sleeve with the knife or is just having inside the box good enough.

OCD is a helluva thing.

The pic above is how I store BNIB knives. It is a 1400 Pelican case, however, I also add two 40 Gram desiccant reusable packs in the case. Each pack works in 3 cubic sq feet. So I figure two is overkill. When the beads turn pink you just put them in the oven for three hours at 300 degrees. Plus, I pull them out and wipe them down with EEZOX every few months, and fondle them :)
