these tubes (specimen sample tubes from a lab) are WATERPROOF , clear so you can see whats inside, have threaded colored caps (i use RED for FIRE stuff), cost about 10 bucks for 500, and are pretty tough slightly flexible plastic.

I can stuff in about 20 cotton balls that have a wax& pj mix on them, plus a handled fire steel and striker.

WATERPROOF! :thumbup:

I can get ahold of some Urine sample containers. I wonder how they'd work. Yes, they are a little big, but I bet they'd do ok.

I think that you get something similar from bottle companies, it's what the inject hot air into to make bottles. They would make nice ultra-light psk's and fishing kits too.

Had some of these a few years back. They do work... for a time. Eventually with repeated use the caps will split at the edge where the top meets the side. They're ment for a one time use only. Just don't crank down on them when you screw them on and they should last.

Willy Wonkas giant pixy stix make good carriers too. A straw about 3/8" diameter and a foot and a half long. I can fit lots of pjcb's into a three inch section.
