I am interested in scooping up some Store and Gun branded knives. I am not interested in the cheap China and Pakistan stuff, but rather USA, Japan and other decent quality stuff. What do you know of? Here's what I know is out there.

STORE
Sharp/KMart
Craftsman/Sears

GUN
Winchester
Remington
Ruger-very little Ruger brand stuff is decent
Browning-not much decent stuff
Uzi
Beretta
Crosman
Colt
Smith and Wesson

Hk branded knives have been made by Benchmade, Hogue, and Boker over the years. For some reason Benchmade made the Hk knives a budget line at some point, but all of the AXIS lock knives were US made and all solid, particularly the early Snody designed ones which were on par in quality with any Benchmade I've ever owned. In fact, the first one pictured below was bought a couple of decades ago now, and is still my favorite Benchmade, with the best AXIS lock action I've ever felt in my experience.

Sig has some knives that are currently in production by Hogue.
Magpul just revealed a new knife a SHOT. There's a tad bit of controversy around it since they're using MIM to produce the blade.

Thank for the leads. Keep them coming. Did Western Auto and Montgomery Ward have store branded knives?

Vast majority of gun branded knives are trash. Smith&Wesson, H&K, Remington, Browning, Glock etc. all not worth the scrap they're made out of. Hogue is the only gun company I can think of that has well made knives.

PS: Before you say H&K, I'm well aware Benchmade used to make knives for them. I just don't consider Benchmades quality tools, especially for the price they demand.

Also for BM, there was a run of Leupold-branded 730s ("Ares") in a couple of different scale materials.

Just generally , buying a gun co. brand labeled knife, is not a good idea ...unless you know who actually made the knife .

IMO , often a recognized brand name, is just used to market inferior knives ( and many other products ) at a hefty markup .

Not saying they are all junk . There are always exceptions . ;)

Whoa, now ..... let's not paint with too broad of a brush.
Let's remember that S&W produced (in house) forged stainless blades that were to DIE for in their day.1000002707.jpg

ESEE did an Izula collaboration with Beretta some time back. Discontinued now but may still be available on the secondary market (not my pics) :

Have a few HK Benchmades that are alright but I really like my Smith & Wesson Allegiance.
USA made, mirror polished 14c28n blade, grip checkering like a handgun with a broadly similar shape to the Loveless Chute knife.
Probably my favorite "gun" knife.
Not my photo:

I ordered this Beretta branded knife years ago, right from their website.

Most Beretta knives are made in Italy. This one was made by Fantoni, and I believe Fantoni made the Harsey knives sold by Lone Wolf.

Looks familiar :)

Glock made contracted military knives before guns . Curtain rods too IIRC . 😏
Glock knife/bayonet has only the competitive price going for it to be honest. It is mainly still a piece of standard issue kit, which is not a pros. At 53HCR on 1095 steel, if it is not for the name, history and price, I doubt anyone would buy it.
