I have a JK knife of O1 steel and I'm curious the best way to store it with ideas and such so that I don't let it rust or whatnot.

I also have a Dozier made of D2 in kydex sheath. Suggestions here also please.

Thanks for your time and help!!!

What kind of sheath do you have for it?

If you use it often, just wipe it off when you're done and you'll be fine. If you don't use it much, just put a light coat of mineral oil.

Vance, you beat me to it.

My knifes that may get used for food prep on occasions are stored in sheath with a thin coat of olive oil. Never had any rust problems and I'm not worried about cleaning off 3 in 1 oil before cutting my food.
