In three days I will be closing down our web store for a short while.
Thursday morning (4/11) I will be closing the store and shipping any existing orders.
Then I will be packing up to go to a knife show in Eugene, OR for the weekend.
The store will probably re-open on Wednesday (4/17).
I will be restocking the store with whatever does not sell at the show.
After that I will be cleaning up the new stuff that came back from K&G while I was gone.

If you need anything in the near future, now is a good time.
There is a really good selection in the store.
Last I looked, there were;
12 Stabilized Karelian Birch Blocks
10 Stabilized 5460 year old Bog Oak Blocks
24 Stabilized California Buckeye Burl Blocks
2 Stabilized Cascara Sagrada Blocks
8 Stabilized Curly Hawaiian Koa Blocks
21 Stabilized Madrone Burl Blocks
18 Stabilized Curly Hawaiian Mango Blocks
49 Stabilized Maple Blocks
2 Stabilized Myrtlewood Bunion Blocks
32 Stabilized Palm Blocks
35 Assorted Natural Hardwood Blocks
28 Sets of Pre-Cut Scales

Thank You in advance everyone.
If any of you are going to the OKCA Knife Show this weekend, I will have a few tables along the back wall. Stop by and say hello.

Mark I put an order in ,I'm hoping you can get it shipped before you head out ? Thanks ,-Vince

Today is the last day before I pack everything up.
Any purchases will be mailed out today or thursday morning at the latest.

Thank you, Mark.
I saw your California Buckeye thread, and had been checking availablility, but then totally forgot about it. Due you your reminder, I found a beautiful piece.
I'm not actually in a rush, but it looks like you already shipped it! Amazing.
Best of luck at the show.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

The web store is still open overnight. Some of the inventory has been removed but there are still just over 100 stabilized blocks available in the store. I will be closing the store tomorrow morning around 10am PST.
Any orders placed tonight and tomorrow morning will be shipped prior to leaving for the show.

The store is closed now.
Time to finish loading the truck and head north for the Knife Show.
Thank You everyone.

Not until I die.
I am a hopeless wood junky.
The knife makers help me to get my fix when they post photos of the knives they make.
Only hopeless because you never visited me. I buy crap like that at the local sawmill......... chump change. I use that crap for tooling.;-)~
1,280 acres of rainforest and a lil tree trimming can twist your mind.

Mark,
I see you like to see our knives once they're done.
I put the above Buckeye on a FFG D2 EnZo Trapper.
My pics don't really do it justice. My wife, who just doesn't understand the obsession, actually gasped when she saw this one - "It's so... Pretty!"
The copper looked great against it where you had cut it. I'm still very pleased, but the tung oil brought out a bit more green than I was expecting.

I made a matching firesteel out of another block I got from Mark - thought I might post the pair here for posterity.
I used a GG Mischmetal rod.
