Store is Up and Running.

we have more inventory of those. the server people say the site still has to propagate or is still fricked up and moving to the new site. we have been talking to these a-holes for about 6 days now. it stopped being fun about 6 days ago. apollo hosting did this to us with zero notice. basically we are shut down till their workload allows us more support.

furthermore, if we get pissed and tell them to frick off we will have to start from scratch and establish a whole new web site. which would take me a year to do.

imho the software and computer business rips people off, their support sucks at best. i'm in the mood to kill right now

Go Skunk! Send adress for ammo shipment. My programmer son even admits it is a very indefinite, ill-defined universe they seem to enjoy and they can easily hurt anyone who gives them any crap. Not like good hard steel. Keep the Faith guys,

Bill

I am sorry for all this troubles.

Sure, upgrade should not be done on working production server in the pick time, this is basic staff.

Is it possible to have some alternative channels, to not to depend from apollo? May be set up some e-mail sales with someone calling back to get CC info over phone? It may take some pressure off and you will have your trades moving.

This is going on any way people sending mail to you and Vicki calling them back. Until those a-holes fix you site? I remember I bought my first Busse exactly this way from you 2 years ago.

You may post you inventory here and then be burred under e-mails to pick few lucky...

I just need Pamela Meaner Street (Red G10). And some G10 AD if you have one and you have my info from last orders.

Thanks, Vassili.

Customer Support in the Internet/computer/software industry generally sucks. Being someone who has been on the development end of software, for over sixteen years, it pains me to hear each and every bad experience.

In the past, say ten years ago, the issue was a high turn-over rate for Customer Support. Now, the issue is moving Customer Support overseas. I don't know what others think, but why would someone in India give a rat's ass about my Internet/computer/software problem? This is not a strike against those in India, but rather the mentality of the people sending jobs overseas.

The funny part (which is not too funny) is that the countries that have the highest rate of software piracy include China and India. So, simply based on cost, we are also shipping software development overseas, to these same countries. We cannot trust them in terms of software sales, but I guess we can trust them to develop our intellectual property. :thumbdn:

These come to mind:
