Edit: Jim, thanks for taking the time to email. It was appreciated. And thanks to xtestifyx, without your well thought out use of my quote in your sigline, this probably would have slipped my mind.

Adam, I should have responded directly to you to begin with. Thank you for your understanding.

Just to clarify: is the price listed in red the actual sale price or do we need to call to get it? I'm interested in ordering a new Para 2.

The Sale price is not listed, you will need to call to get cost plus percentage price.

Huh, website says to call for pricing, so I did. Expected to leave a voicemail (its almost 4am here in michigan) but someone picked up. A bit surprised I ask if they are taking orders, Im told NO and get hung up on.

Whatever.

You can't seriously be surprised or pissed off at that.

I spoke with Jim this morning after receiving his e-mail about this sale...have to say the prices I was quoted on a few items are truly great deals, and I've never been anything but pleased with the service.

You're a fubar if you ask me:p

I was expecting to leave a voicemail so I could request a return call. Not to be dismissed rudely and hung up on. Why answer if you're going to act that way? I can't think of a reason.

And I'm not pissed. I was annoyed and probably could have gone one shopping elsewhere without that post, but I didn't. XtestifyX has me quoted, along with a good quote that doesn't fit, so I won't bother to edit.

Id forgotten the entire thing until I saw his sigline. Guess it ment a lot more to him than it did me. Good luck with your sales and site in general, and sorry we didn't get off on the right foot.

That's messed up... to hang up on a potential customer. :barf: I guess he assumed that the number listed on your business was your business phone, not your personal phone. Don't know where he would get an idea like that?!?!

The store number could be diverted to Mr Howe's personal phone. That's how he can catch people calling out of office hours and still respond on the phone

If you were called at 4AM in the morning, being disturbed in the midst of your beauty sleep, what would you do? I'm sure you'd probably be upset

I would remove the signature, but it's hilarious to me. Someone calling a business and expecting to leave a voicemail?

I couldn't care less about youre signiture. If you can't that your calling the kettle, I'm not going to explain it to you.

Why calling a buisness after hours to leave a message is beyond your
understanding, is also beyond mine. I suppose I can explain a little and maybe it will benifit you in the future. If you were to call Howe's number, and it isn't answered, a recorded voice will ask you to leave a message. If you do so, the person or persons whom you had a question for can call you back when they are prepaired to answer. Its an extremely helpful tool for a buisness, and is used often at B&M as well as online shops.

I hope that helps with your understanding of the voicemail concept and its use in buisness today. Please continue to wear your helmet at all times, but consider loosining the straps. A bit more bloodflow could help you avoid making an ass of yourself in the future.

I'm sorry, because I know that this is inappropriate for discussion in this thread, but that was hilarious. Best Laugh I have had all day. Hands down, best laugh I've had all day!

All right. With that said, let's all please quit. We've all had our laughs, or at least I have, now lets all suck up our sacks and call it a night. Honest Mistake's may or may not have been made. Inappropriate sig lines may or may not have been created. All in all, small potatoes.

I'm sorry to tell you that I don't understand your way of thinking. I'll admit that I think differently than most everyone, though.

If I do call and they are not ready to answer, what makes you think you'd be ready when they return the call? That is why I'd call only during business hours. If I miss the hours, I can't blame it on anyone but myself

If what I predicted in an earlier post was right, then Mr. Howe did in fact have his business phone diverted to his Cell. This could be counted as his fault, but being awaken to take an order or answer questions at twilight? That's a good excuse for being rude to me and I certainly wouldn't blame anyone for that

Good luck with your future 4AM calls.
