A friend of mine is going to be in New York city for one day and he agreed to get me some nice sharp toys if I tell him where to go and what to get.

Any info (available models, aproximate prices) would be great. If the store has a website, that would rock.

Paragon has a great selection of knives from basics to some very nice customs. IMO it is a bit overpriced however, all good stuff. It's on 867 Broadway, call and ask about any models (212) 255-8036.

Darn it! You took my answer.:D

I'd just like to add that it's on 18th street and Broadway.

Search(the archives here), and ye shall find:)

Paragon is very nice but pricey. The City won't offer a ton of choices, as you'll see, particularly if you compare prices to mail order or the net.

The best way to get them is to buy them off the net, have them sent to a friend in NY, and have your friend pick them up and bring them back to Canadia. Be careful at the border. Paragon is quite overpriced, they sell pretty much everything at list, plus NY sales tax is 8.65.

Swiss Army Soho
136 Prince Street

Victorinox Heaven. Here you will find every Victorinox model available, including Classics in every color imaginable. There are Vic watches galore and Vic clothing as well. Don't miss the display of vintage Vics.

Henry Westpfal

A good selection of Buck knives and Vics. Their specialty is high-end kitchen knives. And they sharpen any and all knives.

Native Leather
203 Bleecker Street

A very good selection of Buck knives, Opinels, and Sante Fe Stoneworks Buck and Spyderco models.

All the old junk knife shops on 42 nd street are gone.....there is one knife and luggage store on 47 street off of 6 th ave

Does Paragon have a website? I can't really call since I'm kinda far form NY (I'm in Argentina).

Thanks for all the replies!
