Is there any problem wrapping 110's individually in soft paper towel and storing them? If so, what works better? I'm using Happich Simichrome Polish to clean them. Anything better? Thanks

If you are really serious about the shine on the bolsters...and you must be, you use Simichrome, then I would use something other than paper towel. I beleive that the paper toweling has dirt and grit(microscopic) that will, if rubbed, scratch your bolsters. I use paper towel or newspaper and Maas when I have light corrosion/scratches on bolsters...then soft cotton with Maas.

Someone with factual knowledge will have to say for sure, but I would use clean soft cotton...baby diaper:). Preston

I store my vintage mint and special 110's in 100% cotton infant socks.

Cheap and very durable.

I write on the outside of the sock with a black sharpie marker what 110 is in each sock, makes it real easy to find a specific one without having to take several out.

Thanks for the advice on selecting a material to store 100's in. I'm not sure I can buy any "cloth diapers", even though I am form Utah!!!!. Painter's rags might be my best bet. Kid's socks should be plentiful! Anyway, so long to paper towels. I shall change my ways with my 110's.

I use old Cotton Hankies or I put them in a nylon / cordura sheath. Above ALL, I no longer store in a (factory) leather sheath. I had a nice Stag 110 w/brass bolsters that became so corroded in a leather sheath it actually pitted the brass.

Baby socks is a great idea. I like the labeling idea. Anything 100% cotton I think would be preferable as you can clean plastic lenses in glasses w/cotton w/o scratching them. (as long as you wash any grit away first).
