hello all, I just have a question on how i should store my blades once i have completed them??? i wont be making sheaths for all of them as that would be an expensive task so i was wondering what my other options are, is there a grease of some sort i can cover them in to stop any rusting???? should i keep them in a box of some sort or leave them out?

a light coating of renisance wax. if storing in a box then I would use a plastic box with a tightly sealing lid and use a photography quality dessicant in with them.

Knives should be stored in a dirt/dust free, cool, dry place. The knives should get a coat of oil or wax ( Renaissance wax is superb) and be stored loose on a shelf, or in a padded case. A cabinet with shelves, or a storage bin will work for a safe place to keep the knives.
DO NOT STORE IN A SHEATH.
Check from time to time and re-apply the protectant.

Soft knife cases are excellent for storing knives. They cost about $3 to $8 each. Ace Case sells a good padded zipperd case at three for $15 in any size you pick....extra small to extra large.
