Did any of you guys get hit with that storm last night? I didnt think it was that severe, yet this morning, there is a lot of trees down.

It was pretty bad here in Atlanta - one of my dogs really hates lightning, and he was curled up tight against me all night shaking like a leaf. What a sissy!

Yeah...it took out some of my corn in the garden. We needed the rain but I didn't need the wind!

:sigh: STILL no rain for us..........my lawn is so dead.

Yeah, we had several trees and limbs across roads and power lines down. We had one line down in front of a house that as the wind blew it would arc when it contacted the ground. It melted part of the wire and left a big bare and raised up spot in the yard. Luckily it didn't catch the house on fire or the car in the driveway.

Got some good rain and wind here in Richmond but no where near what you guys got from what I am reading.

Southern Ohio got smacked with twisters and high wind.

Man, i got hit with a storm fri night about fourthirty in morn. lightning struck the same path of forest that i was sleeping in. I am really glad i took the extra time to build a nice shelter for my stay in the woods, i only ended up with three leaks and due to my postioning on a slope the water did not pool on my shelter floor. I stayed dry, lightning that close is just a bit alarming is all.
This was in michigan.

Yesterday and today are the first really nice days we have had since.... hell I don't remember. Rain and overcast, and as of last friday the temp was 14 degrees below avg. Saturday morning it was 53 here.

And yes, we got hit with a heavy heavy storm Sunday around 4 am, woke the kids and Mrs, but I slept right thru it. My 2meter J pole was down, and there was a ton of trash blown everywhere. Sigh.
