I asked STR if he had a clip for the Spyderco Military that I could buy. I was looking for a replacement for the factory one. I know he makes custom clips but I just wanted something that would work. I figuired that he had a few lying around since he probably takes them off to put on his custom clips.
He told me that he had one that someone had given him and he would just give it to me! He sent it out and paid the shipping. He just gave me the clip and screws and paid for shipping and never asked for a thing in return!
If anyone ever had a question what kind of guy he is, I think the above will tell you. I have met a lot of great people since I started getting into knives but none were better than STR. I look forward to actually doing some business with him where he makes a few bucks next time!
