I recently sent a stock Buck/Mayo Waimea to Steve and what I got back is truly a work of art. The entire look and feel of the knife has been transformed into what I now consider an almost perfect EDC.
1) The top horn was removed making the lines of the knife much more fluid.
2) The factory square handle edges are now beveled all the way around and the difference in feel is amazing.
3) Every single hole on both sides of the handles are now chamfered and it gives the knife a very classy look.
4) Last but not least the titanium handles were re-anodized a beautiful blue/gray and I am totally blown away by the color!
I sent the knife in on a Monday and it was back to me five days later. Can't beat that turnaround with a stick! If you are not familiar with Steve's work go ahead and give his forum a look in the Makers section. This is first class work and I couldn't be happier. Thanks Steve! :thumbup:
