This is a straight bladed hunter. It was originally a part of an order, but the buyer decided he wanted a different style, so I completed these and began work on his.

The steel is 1095 clay quenched with a great hamon. (along with it's brother, one of my best so far). It has a full convex grind (notice no plunge lines) It has been hand sanded to 2000 grit and etched to reveal the hamon. The spine has full file work.

The handle is nicely grained cocobolo.

The sheath is leather and uses the cross strap design for horizontal and vertical carry. The knife fits snugly inside.

Dimensions.
Blade - Just a tick more than 4 1/2" tip to handle
OAL - 9"

Price - $200 shipped to US (if outside the US contact me). I prefer paypal to matt@baileyknives.com, but will accept check or money order.

The first "I'll take it!" gets it.

Whew, thanks Bkrosco, but what took you so long?:D Anyway the 'Intervention' was timely as that Bailey is so nice it would never have made it out to the trail. Beautiful score at a good price!

Wait, hold on a minute...this has no plunge lines and it is a full convex, by Matthew?! Bkrosco I really did see it before you did this time, I can't help it if I couldn't read straight. I won't be so nice next time.;)

Well, I appreciate it! :)

Could you please just PM me from now on before you plan on buying something? That should give me some time to catch up.

Yep, full convex. It was the original order, and I kinda liked doing it. Expect more in the future. To keep you sane, monkeybutt, I did make 3, and the third one is flat ground with plunge lines. I etched it last night and will work on the handle this week.

Matthew you tease, that was supposed to keep me sane? I'm not that easy. It was That convex w/That cocobolo and well you can't just substitute...er okay you got mail.:D

Thanks Murdock, I guess I will have to continue it. Seems like it got a good reception.

Very Very Nice! Looks like it would be a good user, but I couldn't. I would hold on to it!

Great looking knife! Good combination of hamon, style and handle shape and material.
