Straight Handle Pics (#38 SHBM LE)

The knife is worth what it is worth... say $2,X00. If you paid $150.00 for it is it still a $2,X00 knife and you'd still be smacking a $2,X00 knife.

But just think how soul satisfying it would be. No fiction there. :D

Not too many here *have* smacked on a $2K+ Busse. Some, but not too many.

I guess one or two of my users might rate $1K+ on a good day (more of them, probably, in the not-too-distant future).

There are a pretty fair number of folks using them above the $1K mark. Particular SHBM and SHSH folks.

But $2K+..... Wow.

So you'd take $400 or $500 off the value. Just think of that first whack. :p :p :p

That is quite the score man...

Nice job..

I would love to see more pictures. These SHBMs don't pop too often unless you go snooping around Tony G's house...

See. :D :D

Plus, there are not many near mint SHBM LEs running around.
So that $400 or $500 first whack... might cost a lil' more. :D :p

This is why I buy used cars and used users :D

In thinking about it, out of maybe 12 Busse users I have only three that I bought new from Busse.

If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd pay all those chicks to lie head to toe from my house to the coast and F@#$ my way to the ocean.....while I'm waiting for all the INFI I could buy to come in the mail. The post man would come in a tractor trailer that day!

You done Good.

Hunting, searching, researching and buying when you find it.

There is joy to be found in doing this.

Then the Posting of course.

OH YEAH! You'd better start about 6 months ahead of time though. Start training now! I don't even think Lance Armstrong has the endurance for a feat of that magnitude!

Man, that was a nice score. If it is not already a user, I would have a very hard time doing the first damage. I had no problem scratching up my FBMLE, but it had already been modified by Siegle, so it was never going to be a minty collector again anyway. I also had no trouble using a new Pumpkin SS, then taking sandpaper to it to straighten out the edge (but I don't see collector value in that one ever).

I can tell you, I love those straight handles. I would love to pick up some and make them my users, but I would probably cry my self to sleep at night and need counseling (but I might not be able to stop my self from doing it anyway).

I also have to say, when I first saw the older straight handled classics, I did not like them. Now, I love every single one of them!

Thanks for posting the pictures for us, I need to start cruising my local shops, and gun shows just in case.

I missed this the other day Eli ???

Congrats on finding such a rare Blade:thumbup:
