straight razor, g10 and O1

Here is a razor that has been kicking my rear, I am glad it is finished. I forged it then ground, sanded and polished. I bead blasted the the g10. The blade is made from O1.

It may have gave you problems but it turned out really nice. I especially like how the blade shows through the G-10 in the closed position. Well done Charlie.

I hammer hot metal like a well trained monkey, I am slowly learning to get it to go where I want it. The 50 grit belt is still my friend.

What size contact wheel did you use?

I used a 2" wheel for the bulk of it and a 1" wheel up by the shoulder.
