straight razor options?

ncraigtrn - your prob the guy who keeps outbidding me. DANG!

I will say there is something to be said about being able to actually hold & inspect the razor before you buy it.

Lol. I doubt that I am.

The best deals are the gambles on eBay. The worse the description or picture the cheaper you win for. I'm 3/3 using this method. The latest was a 35$ winning bid on an 8/8 Frederick Reynolds pre1891. No honewear or deep pitting. Small chip in the toe of the Spanish point so about 30 seconds on the belt grinder to reprofile the toe and I have a 300$ razor.

If you need help or have questions with the restores feel free to pm me.

Ncraigtrn that's a nice score. I'll keep that in mind. I've just been typing in specific names and searching.

I've been working on the Sheffield cutlery co just sanding bringing back the shine. Basically the same process as cleaning slag off after a heat treated knife. I'll let you know if I have any Qs. Thanks
